The oldest vineyards of the D.O. date back to 1145 and more than 2,000 of the 5,000 hectares of Garnacha are between 30 and 50 years old. This results in wonderfully concentrated ripe fruits.
Balanced yet concentrated red fruit mingles with darker spice and chocolate characters to give weight and layers to the palate. Plump ripe tannins add grip to this classic style of Garnacha.
