The team were lucky enough to visit Bodega Muriel in October. Situated in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria mountains, the Muriel philosophy is very much about the quality of the fruit and that really shows in their wines. The 2017 Reserva is packed full of red fruits on the nose, along with hints of liquorice, spice and vanilla notes. The palate is round, elegant and velvety, showing lovely finesse.
