The best wine to go with fudge cake...

🎈 8th birthday celebrations round 2! There are definitely pros and cons to limited garden numbers. On the plus side, you get to drink lovely Argentinian fizz and eat fudge cake again 🥂 On the downside, it’s another deep clean of your downstairs loo and a load more dishes 🤔

I wanted to mention the Los Haroldos Sparkling wine because it’s absolutely perfect for garden celebrations. It’s slightly richer and drier than most Prosecco around the same price (£11.99) and it’s got a lovely nose of citrus fruit, peaches and acacia. Most importantly, there’s plenty of lovely bright acidity which will take on fudge cake perfectly...I tested it a couple of times to make sure 😋
