Akemi Rioja Tinto 2019
The much anticipated Akemi Tinto Rioja has landed! Much like the Blanco, the Tinto is a collaboration between Riojan chef, Felix Jimenez and Bodegas Ontanon to create the perfect red wine for sushi.
Akemi Tinto is a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha, delivering ripe red fruit and floral aromas. The wine was aged for just four months in a combination of American and French oak, which imparts subtle notes of vanilla and spice, with gentle tannins and a soft rounded finish.
