This is 100% old vine Merlot from a tiny parcel (0.56 ha!) of exceptional terroir in the heart of Pomerol. Merlot comes into its own in this appellation, expressing beautiful notes of black plum, blackberry and blackcurrant with a lovely dash of sweet spice from time in oak barrels. It's concentrated, rich and very classy.
