Sitting at 450 metres above the Atlantic Ocean, the vineyards for the Iona Sauvignon enjoy some of the coolest spots on the Cape. A dash of Semillon plus a gentle touch of barrel ageing delivers an aromatic yet round and full Sauvignon. It's very much a hands off approach at Iona, practising organic and biodynamic farming.
The wine is brimming with bright tropical, stone fruit and herbal notes followed by a long and elegant finish on the palate. Super fresh and super tasty!
