A beautifully structured single-vineyard Pinot Noir from Geelong, Victoria. Planted in 1994, the old vine fruit is really starting to shine with concentrated flavours of wild strawberry, kirsch and some delicate herbal notes. A combination of winemaking techniques are also at play here, with some whole bunch fermentation bringing fresh fruit aromatics, while a touch of ageing in new oak delivers texture and complexity. It's a great of example of the high quality Pinots we're coming to expect from this cooler, coastal region of Australia.
