This is classic Gavi di Gavi from the homeland of the Cortese grape. Fresh and citrussy with hints of lime peel on the nose. The palate is crisp with a lovely mineral finish. Like all Italian wines, it pairs well with local cuisines, so in Piemonte, they would typically enjoy this with risotto, light pasta and vegetarian dishes, while on the Ligurian coast, it's usually served with seafood.
