Blanquette de Limoux Brut Cuvee
It's not just the Champagne region which produces quality sparkling wine. Limoux is one of a number of French regions which produces a cremant style, so it's made in the same method as Champagne but not aged for as long on its lees. This results in a lighter sparkling wine, so if you often find Champagne a bit heavy, this is one for you. It's also quite a bit cheaper than its high profile neighbour!
A lovely light sparkling wine from the Languedoc. The nose expresses fresh spring flowers, green apple and pear, while the palate is lively, harmonious and round.
