The Monastrell grapes are grown on organic plots situated around 750 metres above sea level in the appellation of Yecla, south east Spain. Warm sunny conditions and cooler evenings allow the Monastrell grape to ripen to perfection. The Castano is packed full of black cherry and plum with hints of liquorice. Perfect with some light tapas.
