A fabulous Cru Bourgeois from a fabulous vintage! Chateau Poitevin was one of five Chateaux included in the 2003 classification, and this classic blend of Merlot (55%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and Petit Verdot (5%) offers superb value. Merlot dominates the blend, so you can expect a juicy softness to the wine, while Cabernet and Petit Verdot adds layers of black fruits and some tannic structure. Drinking now but will continue to develop if you'd prefer to pop it in the cellar.
