From cool climate Uco Valley vineyards, this mineral driven, fresh and racy Cabernet Franc has an impressive array of points from the critics, with Decanter and James Suckling awarding the 2018 vintage 97 points and Tim Atkin, 96 points. 30 percent whole bunch fermentation adds to the freshness, while ageing in second and third use French oak adds texture, balance and complexity to Cabernet Franc's classic red fruit fruit profile. The long finish has notes of bell pepper, fine tannins and zippy acidity. Drinking now but will age well for at least another decade.
