This is old vine Carignan at its best. The 80 year old vines have adapted to their environment over decades and produced a wine with an incredible concentration. Wine producer, Odfjell, is also all about the biodynamics, adding to the purity of fruit. The nose is complex, with aromas of blueberries, cherries, strawberries, plums, and tobacco. The palate has lovely fresh acidity, round tannins and notes of dried plums and chocolate on the finish.
