The Limari Valley is different to other Chilean wine regions, mainly due to its soil composition. The limestone rocks formed in the high peaks of the Andes were dragged by melting ice to the lower parts of the valley, resulting in limestone rich soils which produce very refreshing, mineral wines.
The Tabali Syrah, produced at the Espinal vineyard in Limari, bears all the hallmarks of its terroir, showing beautiful elegance and finesse. Its incredibly dense, beetroot red colour in the result of long hours of sunshine and a diurnal temperature difference in this region. The palate is rich and concentrated with ripe, dark fruits and fine tannins.
