The wine education team at Momentum Wines is delighted to offer WSET Level 2 ONLINE. Whether you work in hospitality or just fancy learning a little more about the wines of the world, we'd love to welcome you onto the course. Our wine educators are super friendly so you can feel relaxed whatever level of knowledge you have. Please note that discount codes cannot be applied to this course.


Course dates
This is an online course running on nine consecutive Tuesday evenings from 13th August to 8th October, 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Sessions will be recorded, so if for any reason you can't make one of the online classes, you can catch up at a time convenient to you. In addition to the online tuition, WSET recommends 11 hours of personal study.

Study materials
Study materials are included within the price, but tasting samples for Level 2 need to be purchased from the WSET approved e-tasting samples for training You can purchase either 20ml or 50ml samples depending on your budget. We'd recommend purchasing your samples 2-3 weeks before your course commences and store them in a cool, dark place, 

    Who is this course suitable for?
    This course follows on from our WSET Level 1, but it's also a great starting point if you feel you already know the basics. If you're unsure which course is suitable, please get in touch and we can talk you through both levels. This beginner to intermediate level is open to both industry professionals and wine enthusiasts.


    What will I learn?
    You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.     What format is the exam?
    The online exam, which is taken on the 9th session of the course, is a 60 minute multiple choice paper which will be remotely invigilated. You will need a primary device (e.g. laptop) and a secondary device (e.g. mobile phone) in order to complete the exam.
